Finance Manager

Role Summary

As the Finance Manager, you will manage the day-to-day finance function of SOLS 24/7 Group, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting and strong internal controls. You will work closely with senior management to support budgeting, cash flow management and compliance, and act as a key point of contact for auditors, tax agents and bankers.

In this role you will:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and month-end closing.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, financial statements and variance analysis against budget.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in coordination with department heads.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, banking transactions and treasury matters.
  • Maintain and improve the accounting system, internal controls and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, including LHDN tax filings, SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS and other regulatory submissions.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other statutory bodies.
  • Oversee the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing with proper controls.
  • Support grant and donor financial reporting where applicable, ensuring funds are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to support business decision-making.
  • Supervise, coach and develop finance team members.
  • Undertake other ad hoc tasks and support work as required.

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Accounting/Finance and/or a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA).
  • At least 5 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards (MFRS/MPERS) and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • Meticulous, proactive and able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • High integrity, strong sense of confidentiality and business ethics.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
