Human Resources (HR) Intern
Role Summary
The Human Resource Intern supports HR-related matters and projects across talent acquisition, people operations, employee engagement, and employer branding. The role offers hands-on exposure to the full HR function at an impact organisation.
In this role you will:
Talent Acquisition
- Assist with implementing the organisation’s recruiting strategy;
- Assist with the hiring process, coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, performing reference checks and conducting interviews;
- Assist in posting job announcements onto different job platforms;
- Supports a pleasant onboarding & candidate experiences for all hirings
- Support in writing job descriptions;Processing personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval;
People Operations
- Assist in analysing data and updating various data sources;
- Assist in preparing of administration
Employee Engagement
- Assist in planning & executing employee engagement activities
- Improve and improvise current employee engagement activities
Employer Branding
- Learn about the importance of Employer Branding
- Handle several projects that will improve the company’s branding
- Making use of the company’s social media to execute branding projects
- Be part of the SOLS Community and spread the word and work done that aligns with our vision and mission
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
Educational Background:
- Candidates must be currently undergoing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or equivalent;
- Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months to gain full exposure;
Required Skills:
- High proficiency in English; Written and Verbal.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
- A knack for multitasking, as you will be managing multiple projects on a deadline in addition to handling third-party suppliers, partners, and vendors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Great Attitude:
- Consistently approaches work with a positive, constructive attitude, an eye for detail and seeking to improve processes;
- Must have the ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis;
- Understanding of SOLS Energy values, principles and objectives and demonstrated ability to put them into practice in the workplace.
