Inside Sales Intern
Role Summary
As an Inside Sales Representative Intern, you will provide crucial support to the sales team, handling administrative tasks, managing data, and ensuring smooth communication to enhance overall sales efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with the Head of Inside Sales to identify areas of improvement to enhance our customer journey.
In this role you will:
- Review and manage incoming leads in the CRM system on a daily basis.
- Contact leads via phone to introduce the company's solar solutions and perform initial screening for eligibility (e.g., property type, location, energy usage).
- Qualify potential customers based on predefined criteria and update lead status accurately in the CRM system.
- Schedule appointments and site visits between qualified leads and Sales engineers.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all customer interactions, call outcomes, and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Follow up with leads who are unresponsive or require additional information.
- Support the Inside Sales team in executing outreach campaigns and promotional initiatives to generate interest in solar panel installation.
- Work closely with Sales Engineers and other teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Assist in preparing basic reports on call performance, lead conversion, and pipeline status.
- Learn and adhere to sales processes, scripts, and communication guidelines to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Gather basic customer feedback during calls and share insights with the team.
- Perform other administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Other tasks requested from your supervisor.
- Other relevant duties assigned by your reporting manager / The Management from time to time.
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
- Minimum Diploma holding/progressing students with the background in any Engineering, Business or any other related fields.
- Basic GSuite or Microsoft Skills.
- Great analytical thinking and communication skills.
- Willing to thrive and go above and beyond.
