Project Admin Intern
Role Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to support our Energy Access team. This internship is ideal for students who are interested in project management, sustainability, community development, or renewable energy.
You will work closely with our team to support project coordination, community engagement activities, reporting, and day-to-day operations. Most of the work will be office-based, but you may also have opportunities to visit project sites and communities.
In this role you will:
Project Support
- Assist with project planning and coordination activities.
- Help track project timelines and key milestones.
- Organize and maintain project documents and records.
- Support communication between different teams.
Community Engagement
- Assist in coordinating activities with local communities and partner organizations.
- Help prepare materials for meetings, workshops, and community programmes.
- Join community visits and events when required.
Data & Reporting
- Help collect and organize project information and data.
- Update project trackers and records.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports.
Administrative Support
- Support the team with scheduling, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Assist with logistics planning for meetings, events, and site visits.
- Provide general support to ensure projects run smoothly.
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
- Interested in sustainability, renewable energy, or social impact work.
- Organised and detail-oriented.
- Willing to learn and take initiative.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Open to occasional travel, including visits to rural or Orang Asli communities
- Positive, grounded, and solution-oriented mindset
- Able to remain calm, practical, and reliable when facing challenges
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions (e.g., heat, rain, no internet access).
