Talent Acquisition Manager
Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager is the most senior hiring specialist in SOLS Group, responsible for sourcing and closing leadership and C-suite talent and for managing the Senior Talent Acquisition Executive who handles day-to-day hiring. This is a strategic hiring partner role that owns the full recruitment lifecycle from brief to offer across all SOLS Group brands.
In this role you will:
- Own end-to-end recruitment for all Manager, Director, Head-of, and C-suite roles across SOLS Group brands.
- Conduct direct headhunting and proactive sourcing through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Manage the full senior hiring lifecycle, including screening, structured interviews, assessment, reference checks, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
- Directly manage and develop the Senior Talent Acquisition Executive, setting hiring targets, reviewing pipelines, and holding accountability.
- Maintain the SOLS Group Recruitment Tracker with accurate, real-time pipeline data and standardise interview frameworks across brands.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the hiring process before they cause losses.
- Work with Marketing on employer branding and monitor Glassdoor perception to maintain a 4.0+ rating.
- Act as the primary TA partner to brand leaders and department heads, advising on role design, market realities, and hiring timelines.
- Deliver a weekly TA report covering open roles, pipeline status, risks, and progress, and track metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and cost-per-hire.
- Maintain a structured database of past candidates and warm prospects for future re-engagement.
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years recruiting at Manager, Director, or C-suite level.
- Proven track record of closing senior hires independently through proactive headhunting, not just inbound applications.
- Experience managing or mentoring at least one junior recruiter or TA executive.
- Strong LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency and direct sourcing capability across multiple channels.
- Commercially sharp, understanding business context, role criticality, and how to pitch SOLS to sceptical senior candidates.
- Excellent negotiation skills, comfortable handling counter-offers, multi-party salary discussions, and notice period navigation.
- Structured, data-driven approach to recruitment with strong reporting discipline.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong written communication for outreach and briefs.
What's great about this opportunity?
- A fair remuneration package.
- Career progression in a fast growing impact organisation backed by Petronas.
- Work in an agile-driven environment alongside a diverse team who will support your job growth.
- Contribute directly to improving the lives of low-income communities, as a part of a #madetoimpact organisation.
